Welcome - Lessons from the Bench: Judicial Perspectives on Litigating and Trying IP Cases

ABA-IPL and the ABA National Conference of Federal Trial Judges will present Lessons From the Bench: Judicial Perspectives on Litigating and Trying Intellectual Property Cases, an intensive IP-focused litigation program featuring leading federal judges and judicial leaders from across the country. The program will be held on Thursday, July 30, at the Chicago offices of Kirkland & Ellis LLP.

This immersive program brings together distinguished members of the federal judiciary and experienced practitioners to provide practical training on advocacy, discovery, settlement strategy, and the use of artificial intelligence in litigation. Through interactive breakout sessions and candid discussions with judges, attendees will gain real-world insights designed to enhance their courtroom effectiveness and litigation skills.

Registration for the ABA Annual Meeting is required to participate in the Lessons From the Bench program. The $495 registration fee includes both Lessons From the Bench registration and ABA Annual Meeting registration at the Counsel Pass level.

Attendees who have already registered for the ABA Annual Meeting are eligible for a reduced $300 program registration rate. ABA Annual Meeting registration status will be verified for registrants selecting this option.
