Networking
Perhaps as important, the Fall Forum is an opportunity to meet and network with government contracting practitioners from across the country, as well as a chance to re-connect with colleagues. These connections are a valuable resource to practitioners, as well as one of the aspects of Section membership held most dear by members. All are welcome.
Section Reception—Thursday, November 5

No Host Dinners—Thursday, November 5
We have a few small group reservations at local restaurants for attendees wishing to get together for conversation over dinner. Indicate on the registration your intent to participate in the “No Host Dine Out” box on the online registration form. Restaurant sign-ups will take place on-site at the Fall Forum Registration Desk. Dinners are No Host—cash only.
NEW EVENT - Fall Forum Golf Tournament
The Fall Forum golf tournament is scheduled Thursday, November 5, from 8 am – 11:30 am (9 holes - shotgun start). The Reston National Golf Course is 1.3 miles from the Hyatt Reston conference hotel (6-minute drive). Registration is open to conference registrants only. Each conference registrant signed up for the golf event may register one (1) guest. $75 per golfer.
The $75 per person golf event ticket includes: golf fees, golf cart, range balls before round, breakfast (burritos, granola bar, fresh fruit, juice, coffee) and a grab & go boxed lunch (sandwich, chips, fruit, cookie, water). Additional beverages are on your own.
Additional Info:
- The course will be aerated one week prior to the event
- If the event is cancelled due to inclement weather, each golfer will receive an individual rain voucher valid for one year. No cash refunds.
- Golf event registration cutoff date – Wednesday, October 28th
- Maximum 15 groups. First come, first served.
- Transportation between conference site and golf course not provided. Uber and coordinated rides should suffice.
