MORE INFORMATION
On February 18-19, 2027, government enforcers, corporate counsel, economists, and leading practitioners from across the Americas will gather in São Paulo, Brazil, for the eighth Antitrust in the Americas Conference, sponsored by the ABA Antitrust Law Section. Against a backdrop of evolving political, economic, and regulatory developments, the conference will examine the competition law issues shaping markets throughout the region.
Panel discussions will explore the impact of geopolitical developments on merger control and antitrust policy, emerging AI and digital market challenges, abuse of dominance enforcement, cartel investigations, competitor collaborations, and new enforcement tools being deployed by competition agencies. The program will also address competition issues affecting key sectors, including aviation, and examine growing scrutiny of minority shareholdings and interlocking directorates.
Participants will hear from senior government officials, former enforcers, economists, and leading practitioners on enforcement priorities, cross-border cooperation, and the practical challenges companies face in an increasingly complex regulatory environment.
Set in Latin America's leading business hub, the conference offers a valuable opportunity to gain insights into the latest developments in competition law while connecting with peers from government, private practice, academia, and industry across the Americas.
We look forward to seeing you at the Antitrust in the Americas Conference in Sao Paulo!
Sincerely,

Mariana Tavares De Araujo
