The ABA Bar Leadership Institute helps bar leaders develop the skills and strategic insight to lead with confidence and purpose. Through interactive sessions and peer-to-peer learning, participants learn to develop their authentic leadership voice, build strong relationships within their leadership team, foster an inclusive organizational culture, navigate today's complex media environment, and guide their bar's long-term success.

Featuring workshops and plenaries with experienced leaders and collaborative discussions, the BLI empowers presidents-elect, chairs or chairs-elect of young lawyer and law student entities, and other bar leaders on the leadership track to lead their bar associations and communities. Participants leave with a deeper understanding of the challenges facing the legal field and the tools necessary to effect positive change.

 

Registration includes access to all programmatic sessions and meal functions. The guest registration fee includes access to the Welcome Reception on Wednesday, March 10 and the lunch on Thursday, March 11.
