Join Us for an Exciting Conference in New Orleans on Equal Employment Opportunity Laws!
Dear Colleague,
We are thrilled to invite you to join us in New Orleans for an unforgettable conference at our National Conference on Equal Employment Opportunity Law. This event promises to be the premier destination for employment attorneys seeking to stay ahead of the curve on cutting-edge employment law issues.
Our agenda is packed with engaging, forward-looking programs that reflect the most pressing developments in EEO and workplace law. You will see Title VII at the Crossroads explored from doctrine to practice—including the post-Muldrow landscape—and dive into protections for the LGBTQ+ community in the wake of recent executive actions, the ethics and risks of artificial intelligence in the workplace and the courtroom (with ethics CLE), and best practices for litigating EEO and wage-and-hour class actions. We will examine shifting labor-law enforcement priorities, immigration enforcement and equal opportunity, the intersection of EEO and whistleblower claims, and the evolving regulatory environment for DEI initiatives. Two “Suds & Substance” sessions will offer interactive, practitioner-focused conversations on navigating Title VII now and current trends in litigating reductions in force, layoffs, and reorganizations. Rounding out the program, you will hear insights from current and former federal agency leaders—including the NLRB Acting General Counsel and former EEOC and DOL officials—and join our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Luncheon with ABA leadership on sustaining the Association’s commitment to justice and the rule of law.
But it’s not all work—there will be plenty of time to unwind and network with your peers in one of the country’s most vibrant cities. We’ve organized a series of exciting social events, including:
- A Dine Around Night, where you’ll join fellow attorneys at your choice of one of New Orleans’ many renowned restaurants for a delightful dinner.
- A special dinner at an iconic offsite New Orleans venue.
- An optional social outing on your free night to explore the unique flavor of New Orleans!
And for those looking to give back, we have a great pro bono opportunity planned.
This is a one-of-a-kind event where you can learn, network, and have fun all in one place.
Whether you are a long-standing EEO committee member or a first-time attendee, we can’t wait to see you in San Francisco!
Warm regards,
Naomi Frisch, Union & Employee Co-Chair
T. Scott Kelly, Employer Co-Chair
